Instagram now also for Windows 10 PCs appeared

Instagram is now available as a Windows 10 desktop app.

The Facebook subsidiary Instagram enjoys uninterrupted popularity. Until now, full access to the social network was restricted to smartphones and tablets. Users on the desktop PC only had the opportunity to view and comment on their stream through the website.

Now Instagram has appeared as a full-fledged Windows 10 program. This finally allows photo and video uploads from the PC and Windows 10 tablet. Notifications and direct messages are also implemented. All in all, the app recognizes its mobile origins, which should probably remain the primary address for most Instagram users.

The plan to further develop Instagram to the Windows 10 Universal App, Facebook had already announced a year ago. In July of this year came Continuum support for Windows 10 Mobile. Now the work is complete.

You can download the Instagram app in the Microsoft Store, of course, free of charge. The download is 54 MB in size, a American language version is available.
