The videos are compressed by the HD Ghost in the H.264 codec and are optionally written into an MP4 or MOV container. The lens, which is made up of seven elements, can be further rotated by 300 degrees. This makes it easy to adjust the horizontal, even if the cam is not attached exactly to the sports equipment. The optics should have a wide-angle effect of 170 degrees.
Even if the display is integrated, drift promises a sturdy housing, because the monitor is secured with gorilla glass and scratch-resistant. Even without protective housing, the actioncam is waterproof up to three meters. If that is not enough, there is a waterproof case for dives to 60 meters depth.
Drift Innovation uses a remote control, which provides color feedback via the camera status. The range of the remote control is 10 meters.
