Windows 7: Convenience Rollup as a download

Install Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, push the new “convenience rollup” download and work directly without leaving Windows Update staggering for hours. This is now possible because Microsoft has released an all-round security patch, including all security updates since the release of Service Pack 1 for Windows 7. These are countless security-related patches that Microsoft has been running since early 2011.

By the way, the "rollup" is also available for Windows Server 2008 R2. The download for the convenience rollup package (s) can be found in the Microsoft Update Catalog. You must open the link using Internet Explorer (version 6 or later) to make it work. Users who are hoping for a way to get the all-round security patch from the Microsoft Download Center will be disappointed. Microsoft has introduced restrictions for manual downloads of security updates since May 10

The "Convenience Rollup" contains not only security patches, but also all other Windows updates since 2011. Except for downloads for Internet Explorer 11 (which come separately) and the ".NET" components. For example, there are bug fixes for Windows itself and all hotfixes for malicious Windows updates that Microsoft has deployed over the past 5 years.

Microsoft has also announced that it will receive new, non-security updates every month on Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8.1, Server 2008 R2 (SP1), Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2
