Due to excessive demand is not widely available: the UB900 from Panasonic
Since the beginning of April the first Ultra-HD Blu-rays are officially available in the American market. And the run to the new format is significantly greater than some had predicted in the run-up. In particular, the manufacturers of the two currently available players, Samsung and Panasonic are almost overwhelmed by the demand. Recently, specialist retailers have therefore been angered, and in particular, Panasonic complained that the DMP-UB900 had first supplied direct customers who had ordered on the manufacturer's website before sufficient goods had been delivered to the trading partners.
On video demand, Michael Wagner, Marketing Manager Home AV, told Panasonic: "We apologize explicitly to our end users for the delays and our trading partners for the inconvenience and will continue to do everything possible to serve the demand as quickly as possible."
Wagner explained the Panasonic perspective: "The high demand for the Ultra HD Blu-ray Player UB900 surprised us positively. The outstanding test results in the relevant specialist press and the impressive use of the consulting trade led to orders of such high quantities as we in "We knew the UB900 would be a fantastic product, but we did not expect so many dealers and customers to share our enthusiasm so quickly." So the UB900 cuts in the currently available video issue 5/2016 with "very good."

Wagner promises: "Due to the intermittent feedback from the trade, we can ensure that we will receive larger numbers of units than originally planned in the coming weeks, which will be made available immediately after the goods are received."
