By mobile phone into the web: they have to pay attention to discount data sheets

Not only iPhone and smartphones can access the Internet, but almost all mobile phones are able to do so. Even the original GSM standard of the 90s saw the data transfer from and to the mobile phone. At the time, however, this was no fun: small monochrome screens, tiny data rates, high prices and unfinished mobile phone browsers determined everyday life. Meanwhile, however, mobile radio networks and mobile phones are prepared for mobile phones. Only the prices for the data transfer were still the regular surfing pleasure by mobile phone still in the way. State of the art today are fast UMTS networks, which thanks to the turbos HSDPA and HSUPA (see “standards and Surftempo”) can even reach mobile DSL speeds. Also, the phones are easier to use and have large screens. Touch-sensitive displays are very popular thanks to Apple’s iPhone. In order for mobile phones to work, a SIM card must be connected and which in turn is linked to a tariff. Almost all tariffs already include prices for data transfer and thus allow surfing the Internet.

With large displays and cheap tariffs, cell phone surfing is really fun.

However, most tariffs either calculate the time that was spent online or the amount of downloaded data. And these rates are not particularly favorable. The 24 cents, which are calculated with the prepaid offer AldiTalk per MByte of data, are quite favorable. AldiTalk does not allow the highest possible surf speed in the E-Plus network via HSDPA. If you are looking for a cheap data tariff for your mobile phone, you have to think about whether you want the data tariff with the provider of your voice tariff - many providers have now also Flatrates - or whether he changes the provider. The change also applies to telephony and SMS, since most phones can only be operated with a SIM card. With the SIM card to the data rate can one also telephone. Therefore you should also inform about the prices for phone calls and possibly a language flat rate.

At least as important as the price for the data transfer is the consideration, where one wants to surf with the mobile phone. This sounds banal and strange. But most of the time you will find certain places or regions where the Internet access should work - in the case of the work or the girlfriend who is spending the evenings. This has led to a decisive selection criterion. Although Handyfonieren works in all networks almost everywhere in the United States, there are still serious differences in the mobile phones. And it would be annoying, if the data sheet exhausted there only 56 kbit / s, where they should absolutely work at maximum speed. In general, the two D networks (TMobile and Vodafone) are better equipped for data access than the two E networks (E-Plus and O2). All network operators provide websites that provide information on the speed at which location. You can find more on this in the box "Where does what?"

The highest possible speed at mobile phones is theoretically at 14.4 Mbit / s - which is more than most of them reach with their DSL line. However, this is currently only at very few hotspots, such as airports and stations and even with only mobile phones, such as the Nokia 6730 classic. Most UMTS phones support the data turbo HSDPA only up to 7.2 Mbit / s or 3.6 Mbit / s. This is still a high tempo and every cellphone surfer is glad if he can excite on his device. In any case you should inform yourself about the maximum data rate before purchasing an Internet mobile phone. There are still UMTS mobile phones, which do not know HSDPA and thus come to only 384 Kbit / s data rate.
