Part 4: Laser printer: Thousand thanks

This is just the difference between the Revolver and the In-line Engines: Ten Dr. Grauert letters last 40 seconds (one 15 seconds) and ten mixed-document pages only 1:10 minutes. This is the speed you expect from a laser printer. And even large-volume files, such as our 23-MByte test photo are available in 32 seconds from the printer For this, the OKI is easy to use, once the drivers are installed. This, however, was a bit of a hassle, because the driver did not want to recognize the printer at a USB hub.

If all settings are set to default or standard, the images are too colorful from the printer: skin tones are orange, blue tones somewhat discolored. Instead, the prints shine with a solid and rich ink application. The error in the coloring is also repeated in the color circle. Here are some inconsistencies. For this the surfaces are sharply defined, the writing is clean and sharp. However, our test equipment had problems when printing thicker, cardboard-like paper: Here the toner did not adhere and pulled out of the paper when fixing in threads. The phenomenon moderated after we had sent some thicker papers as white print through the printing unit.
