The Imaging Science Foundation and its founder, Joel Silver, have been improving the TV quality for more than 20 years. To this end, about 20 seminars take place every year, ranging from the history and the fundamentals of image processing to the application of brand-new calibration technology, comprehensive knowledge as well as many practical tips. We are now proud that the next seminar will take place in the test rooms of our editorial staff on 5-7 June in American and that our test-engineer Roland Seibt will take part in the lectures.
Interesting discussions about the new technology and its future development are pre-programmed. In addition to the content of isf Level I, II and II +, we will devote a lot of time to the new challenges of high dynamic range (HDR) and extended color space, which require new methods of image adjustment and installation. The seminar focuses on the calibration and signal management of current TV equipment (projectors) for advanced users in the trade, AV industry and the broadcast sector. In order for each participant to be intensively looked after at the practice part, the number of participants is limited to 20 persons. If there are less than ten participants due to the short lead time, we have to cancel the event.
To ensure a pleasant arrival and departure, the seminar starts Sunday 5.6. At 2 pm and ends Tuesday around 3 pm. Lunch, coffee and cold drinks are available as well as the complete equipment of our video lab, including TV and projector references. If you want, you can bring your own hardware, from the laptop for the test version of the professional software Calman, to colorimeters, generators, TV sets or beamers, which are live-matched in practice. Each participant receives detailed seminar papers as well as a questionnaire, which is the examination for ISF Level II. After the evaluation, the calibrator receives an original certificate, signed personally by Joel Silver from Florida.
If you want to intensify the business with image enhancement, for which we have already negotiated attractive exclusive discounts for professional equipment. Please contact us by 18.5.2016 at the latest for more details and to register!
