According to data sheet, the new CTX monitor F773 does not fall into the test field of the nominally fastest flat screens. In practice, however, the screen offers a mean value that even the most rapid ones have to fear: under 30 milliseconds. The special thing about this is that the individual measured values are almost all in one band. This makes the F773 easy to play and video-ready.
The panel of the monitor, a tinted model from AU Optronics, increases the contrast with a dark filter. Disadvantage of the method is a strong mirroring. But it works with the increased perception of the contrast. All test images have a high-impact filter without losing their own color characteristics. The CTX screen also shows an improvement in the detection of dark zones in the case of a shift from the ideal, slightly inclined panel position to the vertical. The illumination of the monitor is worthwhile. On the edge, dark areas can be seen clearly visible. The image center, however, is almost ideally illuminated. Exceptionally chic and functional, the design proves itself. The speakers are positioned at the rear. This is a little detrimental to the sound, but for more than system sounds, built-in speakers are not intended anyway.
