In addition to music, the X-Fi allows you to play videos, photos and FM radio, as well as record voice messages. The large 6.4-inch (2.5-inch) wide and light-weight display convinces with the included in-ear headphones EP830 (single price otherwise 40 euros) is very good.
There is no need for a protective cover, a power supply or even a docking station. The X-Fi is optionally available with 16 GB (169 Euro) or with 32 GB (249 Euro); with optional SD and SDHC cards, the memory can be expanded.
CONCLUSIONS: Recommended ear plugs, long battery lifetimes of up to 25 hours, a brilliant display and the WLAN streaming function make the Creative ZEN X-Fi a worthwhile purchase.
