Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick comments on the possibility of killing prostitutes in GTA 5. Controversial as the sex from the ego perspective in the GTA 5 release for PS4 and Xbox One or Trevor’s torture scene now seems to be dealing with prostitutes. Instead of paying the women after work, you can simply use them to make short work to save money. However, this is actually an old hat, since this possibility already existed in the predecessor games of Grand Theft Auto V.
Problem is the new GTA 5 feature of the ego perspective. This is designed to provide an even more realistic feel to the game and may help players get more into the virtual world.
For some, this is an improvement of the player's experience, for the others it offers a great attack area for criticism. Hostess Stephanie Ruhle of Bloomberg's Market Makers sees a problem in the murders from the ego perspective and asks Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick directly on it
Zelnick tries to take the wind out of the sails and proves that GTA 5 is a criminal game and a gloomy underworld, but ultimately it is art. In this context, he compares the video game industry with the film industry: Here, too, things are explicitly shown that are not justifiable in moral and ethical ways in real life. Just as there are movies in this area, GTA 5 is a game in a criminal universe.
Zelnick also points out that GTA 5 contains hundreds of hours of fun and you can do in this virtual world many exciting and funny things. Nevertheless, it can not be ruled out that it can also be rough. GTA 5 has been available since November 18, 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. PC players will still have to wait until January 27, 2017.
