Facebook Autoplay: Android & iPhone

Until now, it was only possible to switch off Facebook Autoplay with active UMTS or LTE connection. Now the menu item also offers the possibility to switch off the Autoplay feature introduced in April.

In the web browser, press the triangle icon in the upper right corner. A line above the button for logout you will find the settings. In the left column, the bottom of the video point appears. A click on it opens the selection menu, so that you can rest while browsing your Facebook feed. Although the sound of the automatically played is deactivated by default, but it is usually neither useful to watch videos without sound, nor to load them, if you scroll quickly anyway.

On Android, you can call the context menu on the app interface. Under the settings, the point is Video Autoplay. There you have the same settings as in the classic browser. IPhone users open the device settings, scroll to "Facebook" and then go to "Settings". In the "Autoplay" tab you will find the desired options.
