Megazoom camera

Megazoomkameras have a very large zoom ranges up to 50fach and can theoretically replace the complete lens collection for a SLR. This makes it unbeatable under the price-performance aspect, because the enormous function diversity costs with system cameras significantly more – DSLR and Co. offer but also better picture quality. Nevertheless, this camera class bridges the typical functional characteristics of a compact camera and that of a DSLR, hence the name Bridge Camera.

In the focal range there is a regular record hunting. But even with a Megazoomer the zoom factor alone should not be decisive. Even medium focal lengths around 300 millimeters need a good image stabilizer on board, otherwise the photos are not much to see. And you will hardly need longer focal lengths than 300 millimeters (KB).

More exciting than the maximum firing range can therefore be other equipment features. For example, a wide-angle entry focal range, with the usual 24 millimeters allowing a much larger image angle, which gives more options depending on the application area than a few hundred millimeters in the telephoto range. Or a continuous light intensity of 2.8, which also considerably expands the photographic possibilities.

In addition to the Megazoomers, a further chamber class has been established in recent years, which has a lens with a somewhat sloped range of focal lengths built into a small housing, making these cameras much easier to transport Code>
