DxO Labs has just released the new version 9 of Optics Pro, since the programmers from France are reporting an update for the Nikon D610, the latest full-format DSLR from Nikon and the compact Coolpix P7800. The Optics Pro v9.0.1 gets a new look DxO modules: 250 new camera-lens combinations complete the library, which now includes 15,400 optical DxO modules.
Adobe has also renewed its video applications within the Creative Cloud in recent days with a comprehensive update with about 150 innovations. This affected all CC applications of Premiere Pro, After Effects, SpeedGrade, Prelude, as well as Media Encoder and Story.
The update announced in September at the Internationl Broadcasting Convention (IBC) will help to improve the collaboration of the programs, as in the case of Premiere Pro and SpeedGrade. New features such as the Mask Tracker in After Effects, a new iOS application for the Prelude application, or advanced synchronization features are also part of the update.
A completely new video engine promises Aquasoft with the update on DiaShow 8.4. This is to "finally provide for the air, which needs the program to breathe, ie for the design". Based on the free codec package FFMPEG the video integration was completely reprogrammed "and thus all known playback problems solved."
The software forwarders now dispense with components from third-party vendors and have thus programmed all the program parts themselves. They promise a performance jump, smooth flowing transitions and smooth video.
