The display resolution is 1,920×1,080 pixels and according to manufacturers up to ten fingers at the same time. At the CeBIT, the externally identical model 730U3E is presented, which differs only in that it does not have a touchscreen.
Both have a 13.3-inch display and are equipped with the notebook graphics card Radeon HD 8550M from AMD as well as Windows 8 and six gigabytes of memory each. They also come with an HD webcam and two stereo speakers. The model 740U3E is about 1.4 millimeters thicker with its touchscreen and about 1909 grams more than its colleague without touch function.
In addition, the battery with a maximum running time of 7.3 hours is somewhat shorter. As of the end of March, both models will be available in the United States - the model without a touch screen will then be available for around € 1,100, with a touchscreen for around € 1,600.
You'll find Samsung at CeBIT 2013 in Hall 2, booth D30.
