Five new hard drive recorders from Samsung

The top-of-the-line BD-8909S features a 1TB hard drive, which allows you to see a different program parallel to the recording, thanks to a second tuner. The user is centrally managed via a user interface: With Smart Hub, users can search for content on the Internet or in the home network. With the wireless transmission to other devices in the home, content can be viewed in different places.


All recorders have an electronic program guide (EPG) as well as a Hyper Real Engine. The latter is responsible for sharp contours, deep blacks and rich colors. The BD-D8509S is equipped with the same functions as the BD-D8909S, but has a smaller hard disk (500GB memory). However, external hard disks can be connected via a USB connection and the recording capacity can be increased.
