Pantum M6600NW in the test

Affordable, compact document center

Pantum M6600NW

With a footprint of only 42 x 31 cm as well as a wide range of wired (USB, LAN) and wireless connectivity (WLAN, smartphone app printing), the black and white laser multifunction device fits in almost any user environment. Only the scarce paper supply for 150 sheets of plain paper and the missing duplex functions restrict the otherwise good functionality. The printer delivers up to 22 documents per minute. Thanks to the fast data processing, there is hardly any delays in data-intensive documents.

Conclusion

The first sheet is placed in the tray after only about 8 seconds. The printer works cleanly and quietly, the text is well blackened and edge sharp. We liked the simple, intuitive scan and copy operation and the possible manual setting options. The standard toner can be used to achieve page rates of less than 3 cents, depending on the density of the labels.

The Pantum is very suitable for the home office. It works fast, clean and economical. For larger workgroups and demands the paper supply is too low and the duplex options are missing.
