Sat-IP server TSS 400 from Triax in the test

At the beginning of the test, the Triax TSS 400 functioned as a multi-switch: The satellite IP server received all transmitters only if all four F-sockets were equipped. By updating to the test version 0.5.1 it was also fit for normal single- or twin-LNBs, with which he then only offers one or two running tuners.

Also new: The TSS 400 now offers a DLNA server and, in addition to special satellite IP devices, also provides DLNA clients with live television. The sender sorting via the web interface was however somewhat complicated in the present version. Nevertheless, the TSS 400 in its latest version is a price-performance highlight. The versatile TSS 400 offers the "static reception" in addition to the standard reception. Each tuner is assigned a transponder whose channels many client devices can receive in parallel.
